What started as a mother trying to survive homeschooling three energetic children slowly turned into a full-blown educational adventure… powered by determination, coffee, and very little sleep.

Long before colorful AI tools and digital learning existed, finding fun, easy-to-understand educational material in South Africa was frustrating, expensive, and often overwhelming.

 

Worksheets felt dull, lessons felt complicated, and keeping children excited about learning sometimes felt harder than the lessons themselves.

So instead of giving up, she started creating her own.

Years later, when technology and AI tools began opening entirely new creative possibilities, that old passion came rushing back stronger than ever. Suddenly, learning could be colorful, interactive, visual, musical, and exciting again — not just for children, but for adults too.

And she proved something important:

You are never too old to learn something new.

Today, she spends countless late nights (and very early mornings… usually around 3AM) designing worksheets, flipbooks, songs, videos, printable activities, and complete learning resources for children across different ages and learning styles.

 

But the biggest inspiration of all?

Becoming a grandmother.

 

When her daughter decided to homeschool her own children, the opportunity finally arrived to build the kind of learning system she always wished existed years ago — one that was easier to understand, more engaging, and far less stressful for families.

The results surprised everyone.

Some school years became so enjoyable and efficient that the children completed two grades within a single calendar year.

Through Maori Learning, her goal is simple:
to help families discover that education does not have to feel confusing, boring, or intimidating.

Learning can be creative.
Learning can be joyful.
Learning can happen at any age.
